Launchpad
Launchpad is a a careers guide for young people from Thurrock. It’s an area with a lot of opportunity; but it’s opportunity which not everyone sees.
The aim of Launchpad is to show what’s possible with a little application. There’s a real perception among young people growing up in Thurrock that they have to leave to make something of themselves – and that there’s too much competition out there. But that’s not the case. There are some amazing employers and educational chances, and Launchpad lets people know about these.
Launchpad was based on interviews (by phone, email and in person), online and offline research. We worked with Agency East and the excellent designers at Pixelwork to produce a stunning document of over 80 pages, all of them packed with content.
