Reet-pe-Tweet
Reet-Pe-Tweet shows a public Twitter timeline as a sidebar widget. It aims to be as simple and lightweight as possible: a couple of settings and that’s it.
The widget uses the Twitter API and some very simple caching. It grabs the latest 20 tweets, strips out replies if you ask it to, converts #tags and @replies to the appropriate links, and formats it all as an unordered list element.
That’s pretty much all there is to it… and all there ever will be to it.
