I take my responsibilities as a businessman very seriously. Environmental and social responsibility was one of the contributing factors to the choice to go freelance.

• No discrimination - I refuse to discriminate on any grounds. Race, age, sex, disability or otherwise, there’s just no need. Ever.
• Accessible sites - I will always encourage clients to build accessible sites.
• The environment - what little paper I use is recycled. Public transport is used wherever possible, but if I can work from home and save travelling at all, so much the better. Should I ever change computer equipment, all waste will be dealt with according to WEEE, and old computers donated to Computer Aid International or similar charities.
• Clients - I will not work with tobacco companies, arms companies, or direct to consumer pharmaceutical advertising.
• Charities - occassional donations to charity reduce the guilt of having an ace job a little.
