About
I’m a web consultant, writer and project manager.
What does this mean?
- Consultant: call me if you don’t know what to do on the web. Need a strategy? Need some general advice? Need someone to bounce ideas off? That’s me. I’ve got expertise in public sector web strategy, use of social networking and blogging and content management systems.
- Writer: I create content for websites, written with usability, search engine optimisation and readability in mind. I’ve been writing professionally for ten years and am trained in technical writing, writing for the web and proofreading.
- Project manager: got a web supplier and don’t know what to do with them to get your project completed? I’m your man. Don’t have a supplier? I have an extensive list of trusted suppliers and can put you in touch with the right people, regardless of the size of your project. With both technical and strategic expertise I’m the ideal bridging point between you and technical suppliers.
Established in 2006, I mainly work as a “white label” consultant, providing specialist project management and web writing, architecture and strategic consultancy for full-service and multimedia agencies. I also work direct with clients, mainly in the public sector. As a freelancer I offer a completely objective view, recommending strategy on merit rather than in the hope of carrying out the work, although that’s nice to do as well.
